"Ecowater is simply the best! After a lot of research into water softeners, Ecowater was clearly the winner. The fact that it uses about one tenth of the salt, or potassium as it competitors (Culligan) speaks volumes about it's efficiency. We've had ours for 10 years without any issues what so ever. Before moving to San Diego we had never experienced water as hard as it is here in San Diego. The hard water left spots that were hard to remove, and the chlorine in the water made our skin dry, and itchy, and our eyes red after showering.
